Tracking that shows delivery or attempted delivery will get you the refund. I don't think you will have any difficulty about getting a return postage label and refund. In this case they absolutely will favour you and if the buyer doesn't provide a label by that point, it's likely eBay will tell you to keep it and give you a full refund on behalf of the seller. Ebay stepping in will almost always do things in your favour in fact. There's many reasons why someone may call something fake including as it wasn't the quality they expected, but it doesn't mean it is actually fake.įake or not, it's not relevant anyway in terms of how eBay act (how do eBay know it's fake or not, they didn't package it, they didn't receive it). Unless you have absolute proof of this potentially via an authentication service then your word about it being fake doesn't mean it is. You could have opened INR case which would have found in your favour if no delivery made, but it did arrive eventually so INR not relevant of course. The refund notification did say to allow a couple of days for the refund to show according to the original payment method used but I received mine within a couple of hours. I opened an INAD case very recently (Chinese knock-off DVDs) which I had to escalate and all the above happened as I describe it. When the item is delivered, the INAD case is updated with the details and a refund is issued. The parcel is Tracked automatically so you don't even need to enter the Trascking Number into the INAD case. The returns system will generate and send you a Tracked Returns label. I also cannot wait to leave him negative feedback, he has caused me so much stress over the past few days. This watch was to be a Christmas present and I can't really afford to spend on something else until I get my money back. I have almost 2000 feedback on eBay and never a negative, on the whole it's been a great platform to trade on. Is he stalling for time or am I safe regardless of his tactics? I'm also concerned that he will refuse to accept the returned parcel once the delivery is attempted. My question is, what will eBay do? Now, the seller has accepted the return but after 3 days will not issue a postage label, he is ignoring my requests.Įbay won't do anything until next Tuesday when I can ask them to step in. The seller came out with loads of garbage stories saying it was genuine and bought off "a family member" who bought it from a Tag Heuer shop. However, after I submitted an item not received case, with a lot of prompting he eventually updated tracking which showed he had posted the watch 10 days after I paid. Seller took a week to say he had despatched it. Item was listed as/ and I paid for - next day delivery. Photos showed stock pics plus 1 pic of the watch. ![]() It was listed as "a gift from my wife, worn twice". I bought a £600 Tag Heuer watch from a UK based seller.
